A journey of passion and expertise:

I have always been fascinated by the world of mechanics, a passion I nurtured during my studies at the Aldini Valeriani Institute in Bologna, which eventually led me to graduate in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bologna.

I joined Silea in 2009 as a Mechanical Designer, a role I held for two years. Later, following a company restructuring, I was offered the opportunity to take charge of production. This journey, first in production planning and later as Workshop Manager, allowed me to combine theory and practice, leveraging the skills I had gained in the technical office to approach daily challenges with a more comprehensive perspective.

Today, as the Production and Scheduling Manager, I organize and oversee production processes daily. I collaborate with the purchasing department to ensure material procurement and manage subcontracted orders. Since 2022, I have also been responsible for managing the fiscal warehouse, preparing monthly control reports. My primary goal is twofold: ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality products on time and achieving maximum production efficiency while minimizing inventory levels.

Innovation and teamwork:

What excites me most about my role is work organization, which requires both initiative and precision. Every day, I face problem-solving challenges, finding solutions that balance time, cost, and benefits. The corporate values at Silea - innovation, responsibility, and trust - are a source of inspiration and motivation, guiding my approach to work.

My relationship with my team is direct and constructive, focused on achieving shared objectives. Additionally, Silea supports my professional growth through training courses
and the implementation of new management software tools to optimize the collection and processing of production data.

Among the most stimulating projects, I recall the GNL arms and Teflon-coated arms, which represent high technology and required extensive coordination between departments. It’s no coincidence that I consider teamwork an ongoing challenge: collaborating with designers, engaging with suppliers, and optimizing internal production phases are activities that help me grow and improve every day.

Looking ahead:

The most rewarding moment of my experience at Silea was undoubtedly the close of 2023, an intense year in which we achieved excellent results thanks to effective production organization despite a demanding workload. Looking to the future, I aim to acquire new skills in my current role, further improving my performance and contributing to the company’s success.

If I had to describe my journey at Silea in one word, it would be ‘growth’: here, I’ve had the opportunity to apply my knowledge, develop new skills, and take on responsibilities,
thanks to the trust the company has placed in me.
